West Hartford Community Theater opened its doors in the fall of 2008 to bring a  high-quality, live, musical theater experience to West Hartford and the Greater Hartford Community. Founded by Bruce LaRoche and Maria Librio Judge, both graduates of Conard High School, the organization continues to produce quality productions year after year, showcasing the unique and richly diverse talent in West Hartford and surrounding communities.

WHCT welcomes all backgrounds and skillsets to volunteer for a variety of programs and performing arts opportunities, values diversity and strives to provide opportunities that are safe, equitable, and inclusive.

Board of Directors

Our Board of Directors encompasses talent spanning every aspect of live musical theater. From actors, singers, and dancers front and center, to instrumentalists playing in the pit, as well as builders, lighting and sound technicians, and costumers behind the scenes, everyone involved brings a passion to our productions that resonates with audiences because it comes from the heart.

We would like to thank the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development Office of the Arts for making the following possible with their grant:
